Job Description

Primary & Mandatory Skill:

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certifications).

JD:

Key Responsibilities:

Incident Response: Lead and participate in incident response activities, including detection, triage, mitigation, and post-incident analysis.
Monitoring and Alerting: Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.
Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis of incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Automation: Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and other teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination during incidents.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of incident response procedures, playbooks, and post-incident reports.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance system reliability and incident response capabilities.
On-Call Rotation: Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical incidents.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of incident response methodologies and best practices.
Proficiency in monitoring and alerting tools (Datadog, Dotcom, ).
Experience with automation and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
