SRE engineer with Azure and python

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage

  Azure-based infrastructure

  for scalability, availability, and security.
• Develop

  automation and tooling in Python

  to streamline deployments, monitoring, and operations.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and fix issues in

  Python-based API code

  in collaboration with development teams.
• Build and maintain

  CI/CD pipelines

  for fast and reliable releases.
• Implement

  monitoring, logging, and alerting systems

  to proactively detect and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to design

  resilient architectures

  and troubleshoot production issues.
• Ensure systems adhere to

  compliance, security, and disaster recovery

  best practices.
• Write clear

  technical documentation

  and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience

  as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Proven expertise with

  Azure cloud services

  (AKS, Functions, App Services, Storage, Networking, Security).
• Strong

  Python skills

  for automation, scripting, tooling, and debugging.
• Solid understanding of

  containerization and orchestration

  (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with

  monitoring and observability tools

  (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, ELK, Datadog).
• Familiarity with

  infrastructure-as-code

  (preferably Terraform).
• Strong

  problem-solving skills

  for troubleshooting complex distributed systems.
• Excellent

  written and verbal communication

  — able to explain complex concepts clearly.

Nice to Have

• Experience with

  CI/CD tools

  (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with

  networking, security, and identity management

  in Azure.
• Exposure to

  incident management, on-call rotations, and postmortem practices

  .
• Knowledge of other programming languages (

  Go, Bash, PowerShell

  ).
