Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Kolhapur for a Sr. Design Engineer. The Sr. Design Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and leading the Sheet metal tool design & process, collaborating with mechanical engineering teams, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) solidworks software, additional duties include ensuring the timely delivery of design projects, maintaining design documentation, and continuously improving design processes to meet industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree & Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Tool Design (NTTF).
• Experience requirement is 10-15+ years.
• Proficiency in Sheet metal tool Design and Process Define (Draw,Forming,Trimming,Blanking,Piercing).
• Design knowleadge of welding fixtures & Gauges.
• Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software like Solidworks.
• Know the various machining processes required for sheet metal tooling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Previous experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus.
