Sr. Wordpress Developer

Job Title: WordPress DeveloperJob Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and creative WordPress Developer to design, implement, and manage websites using the WordPress platform. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, customizations, and website performance optimization. You will work closely with our design, marketing, and content teams to ensure seamless integration of functionality and user-friendly interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, Including designing customized plugins.
• Design and implement new website features, functionalities, and enhancements.
• Convert design mockups (Figma/Adobe XD/Photoshop) into responsive WordPress themes.
• Install and configure plugins, troubleshoot compatibility issues, and optimize performance.
• Ensure websites are mobile-responsive, SEO-friendly, and follow best practices.
• Manage website security, updates, backups, and bug fixes.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and content creators to improve site functionality and aesthetics.
• Debug and troubleshoot technical issues across browsers and devices.
• Optimize website speed, performance, and loading times.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in WordPress development.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, plugins, and custom development.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.).
• Knowledge of SEO principles and website performance optimization.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git preferred).
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce solutions.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with Laravel or other PHP frameworks is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma).

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or a related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of hands-on WordPress development experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,347.91 - ₹50,751.76 per month

Work Location: In person
