As a skilled WordPress Developer at Wings, an exclusive design & development firm in Chennai, India, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing websites using the WordPress platform. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end development, including creating custom themes and plugins. Your ability to translate client requirements into functional, user-friendly websites that align with our brand and business objectives will be crucial to your success in this role. With at least 3 years of experience, you should be proficient in Wordpress, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS. Your key responsibilities will include developing pixel-perfect websites, customizing themes and plugins, planning and implementing site architecture for high performance and scalability, integrating third-party APIs, and maintaining existing WordPress sites to ensure security and performance optimization. Collaboration with designers, content creators, and other developers will be essential to deliver cohesive web solutions, while your troubleshooting skills will help identify and resolve website issues promptly. The required skills and qualifications for this position include strong technical proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL, extensive experience with WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development, the ability to create mobile-friendly, responsive designs, familiarity with Git or other version control systems, understanding of SEO best practices, strong analytical and debugging skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
