Achieve monthly secondary sales targets across assigned product categories
Meet retail consumers, contractors, plumbers, architects, and walk-in customers at storesExplain product features, advantages, and benefits with practical demonstrationsComplete sales process by ensuring billing to end consumersGenerate leads through market visits and customer referralsOpen new retail outlets outside existing dealer networksEnsure stocking and re-ordering within dealer networkCustomer Relationship ManagementCreate demand at consumer level and direct customers to appropriate Asian Paints storesHandle customer complaints and provide effective remedial solutionsMaintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including dealers, architects, and buildersProvide on-site support services including sampling and technical assistanceAttend to consumer queries and provide expert product guidanceMarket Intelligence & ReportingCollect information regarding sales opportunities and construction activitiesMaintain comprehensive database of dealers, contractors, and market influencersSubmit daily activity reports, weekly work plans, and monthly performance reportsUpdate consumer and site details regularly in company applications

Skills Required
Essential SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong sales acumen and customer service orientationAbility to work independently and manage territory effectivelyGood planning and organizational capabilitiesProficiency in maintaining records and reporting systems

Qualifications & Experience Minimum 6 months of sales experience in construction, paint, or allied industries Experience in building materials, retail, or related field preferred Graduate degree preferred but not mandatory for candidates with relevant experience Local language proficiency along with English and Hindi communication skills
