Sr TechOps Engineer

As a Windows Administrator or Linux Administrator at Fulcrum Digital, you will be responsible for: - Having proven work experience in Windows or Linux administration with in-depth knowledge of operating systems and associated utilities. - Understanding networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP. - Implementing security best practices, system hardening, and patching. - Demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Working independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. - Possessing strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Having familiarity with automation tools like Ansible. - Knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware, KVM, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure is advantageous. Qualifications Required: - Expertise in end-to-end Cloud migration on Azure and AWS including strategy development, assessment, solution design, architecture, and execution. - Operational knowledge of key technologies like Linux OS, Windows OS, AD, DFS, SFTP, Cluster, etc. - In-depth knowledge of Active Directory Replication troubleshooting and hands-on tools like Repadmin, Dcdiag, AD Rep. - Day-to-day management of VMs including installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, patching, backup, and recovery. - Familiarity with data center environments, servers, and network equipment. - Installation, upgrade, and maintenance of Linux-based systems. - Troubleshooting problems with Linux servers running various versions like Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS. - Experience in Azure infrastructure projects designing and deploying cloud environments for hosting business applications. - Collaborating with application, network, and security teams to ensure requirements are reflected in Azure design. - Leading proof of concept and pilot implementations and defining plans to scale across multiple technology domains. - Good experience with Windows Based Application Hosted IIS, .NET. - Using problem-solving and critical thinking skills to manage diverse projects effectively against tight deadlines. - Driving in-depth knowledge and understanding of key value drivers of a business impacting the scope and approach of engagements. - Developing and owning the technical roadmap for service lines and backlog ensuring consistent architecture. - AWS CloudOps.
