Sr Technical Writer

As a Technical Writer in our team, you will be responsible for creating software and hardware technical documentation in collaboration with the project team and offer development team. Your role will involve investigating relevant information from Offer development and Offer management and translating technical input into easily understandable content for the target audience. You will work closely with technical illustrators to ensure the right text and illustration mix. You will be an integral part of our international technical documentation team, collaborating on guidelines and new technologies for digitizing information. Managing DITA content in our authoring system (PTC Arbortext) will be a key aspect of your role to ensure efficient reuse and standardization. Additionally, you will oversee the translation and localization process and publish information on the web while preparing files for the printing office. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a technical writer with the ability to create technical manuals independently. A background in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education is preferred. You must possess a strong understanding of technical writing concepts such as ANSI safety warnings, consistent terminology, and unambiguous language. Proficiency in English with strong writing skills is essential, and being a native speaker is advantageous. Experience with technical writing tools like Arbortext or comparable XML editors, Adobe technical communication tools, and collaboration tools such as Teams and Planner is desired. Familiarity with working in an agile environment and excellent communication and coordination skills are also important. You should be motivated to introduce new methods for providing technical documentation and have a positive, open attitude with a collaborative working style. Overall, we are looking for a team-player who is fluent in spoken and written English, flexible, and proactive in contributing to our technical documentation efforts.,
