Leverage detailed technical knowledge of SAS Architecture and SAS Managed Hosting requirements to support sales opportunities and implementations across solution domains.
Liaise between delivery and sales teams to ensure that deliverables, pricing and other expectations are correctly set to ensure successful projects and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with sales teams to set strategies and objectives for customer meetings, in alignment with the plan for an account or opportunity.
Build trusted relationships with the Account Executives and client accounts to provide practical guidance in the technical aspects of proposed solutions and set proper expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
Leverage detailed technical knowledge of SAS Architecture and SAS Managed Hosting requirements to support sales opportunities and implementations across solution domains.
Assist in the response to RFI/RFPs, utilizing the RFP Repository and crafting your own compelling answers.
Work with sales team to provide functional and technical leadership for sales opportunities.
Create and present enablement material to ensure new and updated capabilities are shared with our internal stakeholders and well understood.
Provides technical leadership and mentoring to team members.

Required qualifications

Bachelors degree, preferably in computer science, engineering or similar.
Eight years of technical sales, systems engineering, applications development, and/or technical architecture.
Deep and broad knowledge of SAS technology, architecture and resources
Experience in the design of SAS (or similar) Solutions preferably from presales through to implementation.
Commercial awareness, and first-hand involvement in large, complex sales-cycles.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Travel: 10-25% or as business requirements dictate at management discretion.
