**Job Description:** At Illumina, you will play a crucial role in a global mission to enhance human health through genome exploration. Your contributions will aid in broadening access to genomic technology, fostering health equity for diverse populations worldwide. Working alongside exceptional colleagues, visionary leaders, and groundbreaking initiatives, you will have the opportunity to effect positive change and advance professionally. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare monthly tax calculations for APAC entities by extracting SAP reports, conducting financial data analysis, and liaising with finance teams. - Collect and oversee all essential documentation for submission during tax audits, inquiries, and notifications initiated by tax authorities. - Conduct financial data analysis, generate schedules and reports for internal and external tax reporting for APAC entities. - Support month-end and statutory audit procedures, including the preparation of tax provision, deferred tax calculations, and reconciliations for tax accounts. - Identify and execute strategies for enhancing process efficiency within the tax reporting workflow, collaborating with internal stakeholders to streamline procedures. - Research tax regulations to address daily inquiries concerning TDS, GST, withholding tax, and SAC coding. - Engage in cross-functional and tax-related projects as directed by the Regional Tax Team or Tax Manager. **Qualifications Required:** - Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation. - Acquire a minimum of 4-7 years of accounting experience with direct and indirect tax exposure from a reputable firm like the Big 4 or accounting with taxation background; familiarity with the APAC region is advantageous. - Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel. - Previous experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is desirable. - Exhibit strong organizational capabilities, attention to detail, independence, and adaptability to a dynamic work environment. - Display analytical problem-solving skills and a flexible approach to challenges. - Demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal abilities.,
