Sr. Software Engineer I - Automation

The Opportunity

What Youll Do

• Develop and execute manual and automated tests to ensure software meets requirements.
• Act as an end user to test applications and features for correct behavior.
• Analyse, report, and document bugs and errors to development teams.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure quality.
• Configure, use, and manage test environments and test data.
• Create and execute test plans.
• Participate in planning and release of sprints.
• Troubleshoot issues and identify pathways to replicate problems.
• Validate product fixes and review system specifications.

What Youll Bring

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in scrum teams developing browser-based software solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for managing business requests and working with global teams.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Java programming
• Selenium automation framework
• Testing methodologies and writing test cases
• Agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD, BDD)
• Relational databases
• Distributed teams across regions and time zones

• Experience with Katalon automation tool.
• Familiarity with tools such as GIT/AWS Code Commit, Jira, Jenkins, SharePoint, Visual Studio Code.
• Ability to review logs and identify problems.

• High attention to detail and quality-oriented.
• Adaptability and willingness to help outside of the normal role.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Critical and skeptical thinking about the product.
• Self-motivated and requiring little supervision.
