Job Brief -

Were looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior Social Media Executive to lead and scale our social media presence across all major platforms for our fast-paced B2B tech media publication Tech Research Online. This role is crucial in amplifying our editorial content, driving real-time engagement with breaking tech news, and building a strong, credible brand voice in the B2B tech media space.

You will manage our full-funnel social media strategyfrom content planning and publishing to analytics and optimizationwhile working closely with editorial and marketing teams to ensure we stay relevant, authoritative, and visible in the evolving digital landscape.

Responsibilities -

Own and manage the end-to-end social media strategy across platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook).

Plan and maintain a content calendar that aligns with daily news updates, editorial features, reports, and thought leadership.

Ensure timely promotion of breaking tech news, expert interviews, and event coverage to maximize visibility and real-time engagement.

Create or oversee the creation of platform-specific content (static posts, carousels, reels, video clips, stories, etc.) that enhances storytelling and shareability.

Leverage moment marketing by identifying trending topics, tech events, and cultural moments to insert the brand into relevant conversations and boost engagement.

Monitor tech media trends, platform algorithms, and audience behavior to drive innovation and engagement.

Manage community engagement, including responses, polls, discussions, and influencer/partner interactions.

Track, analyze, and report performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, CTRs, etc.) with clear insights and improvement plans.

Stay updated with competitors and benchmark social media strategies within the B2B tech media and publishing space.

Maintain and evolve brand tone, social voice, and engagement guidelines for consistency and credibility.

Requirements -

34 years of experience in social media marketing, ideally within B2B tech, media, or digital publishing.

Strong command of LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, and their role in a content distribution strategy.

Proficient with social scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, Sprout, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, native platform insights).

Ability to turn performance data into strategic recommendations.

Detail-oriented with a creative and strategic mindset.

Strong collaboration skills; experience working cross-functionally with editorial, marketing, and design teams.
