Sr. SOC Engineer

Role Overview: You will be working as a Sr. SOC Engineer in Pune on a full-time onsite basis for one of TekWissen's clients. Your primary responsibility will be to provide post-deployment configuration assistance for various Akamai products, including Ion CDA, WebSocket, EdgeWorkers, DataStream, Cloudlets, Image & Video Manager, NetStorage, mPulse Lite, and Edge DNS. You will also support fine-tuning, optimization, and configuration reviews on the Akamai UI, analyze Akamai Traffic Peak data, collaborate with internal teams and customer stakeholders, and create documentation to support ongoing management of Akamai delivery configurations. Key Responsibilities: - Provide post deployment configuration assistance for Akamai products such as Ion CDA, WebSocket, EdgeWorkers, DataStream, Cloudlets, Image & Video Manager, NetStorage, mPulse Lite, and Edge DNS. - Support fine-tuning, optimization, and configuration reviews on Akamai UI in alignment with recommended practices and customer requirements. - Track and maintain logs of configuration assistance hours and report regularly to the project management representative. - Analyze Akamai Traffic Peak data to identify performance trends, bottlenecks, and provide actionable traffic optimization recommendations. - Collaborate with internal teams and customer stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and maximize the value of Akamai services. - Share knowledge, create documentation, and support customer teams in ongoing management of Akamai delivery configurations. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Akamai certifications are a strong plus. - 7+ years in post-implementation configuration engineer role/professional services, with 2 to 2.5+ years of hands-on experience in relevant Akamai Delivery, DNSSec & Observability solutions. - Akamai Edge Delivery Technical Mastery on Ion, Akamai university product trainings, and complementary industry certifications are preferred. - Strong communication, presentation, collaboration skills, and expertise in Akamai Delivery products are essential. - Working knowledge of DNS Security and Observability tools, as well as CDN technologies and internet protocols, is required. - Proficiency in log analysis, performance monitoring, and problem-solving skills is necessary for this role.
