We are looking for a
self-motivated Sr. Salesforce QA Engineer
with expertise in Service Cloud
and post-sales systems to join our Agile development team. You will ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of Salesforce applications and integrations by developing and executing comprehensive test strategies. This role requires collaboration with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to validate business processes, identify defects, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and define test scenarios and acceptance criteria for Salesforce applications and integrations.
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce functionalities, including Service Cloud and integration points.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure quality and stability of Salesforce applications.
Identify, document, and track software defects; collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
Validate and verify business processes and user workflows with analysts and stakeholders.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for regression and integration testing.
Work with scripting languages such as
Shell
or Python
for test automation (preferred). Stay current with Salesforce best practices, new features, and industry trends; provide guidance for process improvements.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations.
Maintain effective communication and provide clear, concise reports on test results and defect status.
Adapt to changing project requirements while ensuring quality and meeting delivery timelines.
Required Qualifications Skills:
bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
5+ years
of Salesforce QA testing experience, including Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and API integrations. Experience in
SaaS industry
and post-sales business applications (eg, TalkDesk, Gainsight) is a plus. Proficiency in
creating and executing test plans, test cases, and scripts
for Salesforce applications and integrations. Hands-on experience with Salesforce
configuration, development, and customization
. Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and SOQL.
Experience with
CI/CD tools
such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, ANT, and test automation. Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes and SDLC best practices.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile team and adapt to evolving requirements.
Salesforce Certifications preferred (eg, Platform Developer I, Platform App Builder); ISTQB optional.
