Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automated testing frameworks and tools, a strong understanding of web technologies, and a passion for delivering high-quality software. You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, writing and maintaining automated tests for both UI and backend services, and ensuring the reliability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as

Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Jenkins, and Maven

Create and execute detailed

test strategies, test plans, and test cases

Perform

automated testing of RESTful APIs

and web services.

Validate backend data using

PostgreSQL

by writing and executing complex queries.

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure application quality.

Ensure tests are integrated into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and delivery.

Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with development teams for timely resolution.

Maintain clear and concise documentation related to test coverage and results.

Take ownership and show passion for the quality and performance of applications under your teams scope.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on

automated testing

Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as

Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Jenkins, Maven

Experience testing

RESTful web services

and validating responses.

Solid understanding of

web technologies

including

HTTP/S, HTML, JavaScript, XML, and JSON

Experience writing SQL queries for

PostgreSQL

to validate backend data.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Nice to Have:

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
