Sr. QA Manager

Key Responsibilities

QA Leadership & Strategy

• Define and execute a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with eCommerce product goals and digital transformation initiatives.
• Establish and maintain QA processes, standards, and best practices.
• Drive adoption of

  AI-assisted testing

  , including

  Agentic AI

  capabilities for test data generation, autonomous test creation, and execution.
• Ensure robust test coverage, risk-based testing, and continuous quality improvements.

2. Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers (manual, automation, and performance).
• Allocate resources across eCommerce initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support ongoing skill development.
• Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

Project & Delivery Management

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Development, DevOps, UX, and Business teams.
• Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, estimation, and release management.
• Oversee functional, regression, integration, UAT, performance, and security testing for eCommerce applications.
• Ensure timely reporting of defects, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Automation & Tools

• Lead automation strategy using modern frameworks, including

  Microsoft Playwright

  and

  Tricentis Tosca

  for testing the web and SAP applications.
• Integrate automation suites with

  CI/CD

  pipelines.
• Evaluate and implement tools supporting

  Agentic AI

  for automated test generation, intelligent defect analysis, and synthetic test data creation.
• Stay updated with emerging testing technologies and eCommerce testing frameworks.

• Define and track KPIs to measure product and process quality.
• Prepare quality dashboards and reports for leadership and client governance meetings.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, data security norms, and audit guidelines.

6. Required Qualifications & Skills

Domain & Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in eCommerce platforms, order management, payments, catalog, search, promotions, and checkout flows.
• Expertise in test automation using Microsoft Playwright and Tricentis Tosca.
• Working knowledge of

  Agentic AI

  concepts,

  AI-driven testing tools

  , and automated test data creation.
• Proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Good understanding of

  CI/CD, DevOps

  practices, and cloud platforms.
• Strong experience in J

  IRA

  , test management, defect management and live reports & dashboards set up

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Proven experience managing distributed QA teams.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to guide teams through complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of overall QA experience, with at least 5–6 years in a managerial or lead role.
• Experience in eCommerce-focused delivery environments is preferred.
• Certifications such as ISTQB, Agile/Scrum, or AI-related credentials are a plus.
