Sr QA Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer at DXFactor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products. Your responsibilities will include: - Working closely with the development and product management teams to understand complex use cases and create appropriate test plans and test cases. - Executing test cases, reviewing automated test results, reporting defects, and identifying issues affecting software performance and quality. - Developing test data, test data generators, analyzing test results, and preparing detailed reports. - Categorizing and tracking new and existing defects for recommendations in future releases. - Providing relevant test metrics to evaluate the results of executed tests. - Managing daily test activities effectively and maintaining the test script library. - Demonstrating a good understanding of Agile methodology, which is an added advantage. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in software testing (manual). - Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and defect life cycle. - Experience with API testing using tools like Postman and Rest Assured. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Azure DevOps. - Proficiency in writing SQL queries for database testing. - Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Desired skills that would be beneficial for this role: - Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter and LoadRunner. - Preferably having experience in Automation Testing. - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. - Exposure to security testing practices.
