Job Summary-

Office Boy The Office Boy will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office by maintaining cleanliness, handling pantry and reception-related tasks, and assisting staff members in their routine requirements. The role demands punctuality, attentiveness, and a proactive attitude to ensure that the workplace remains well-organized and welcoming for both employees and visitors.

1. Office Responsibilities

  • Open and close the office on time, ensuring security and readiness for the workdays Clean and sanitize all workstations, meeting rooms, and common areas daily.
  • Empty garbage bins, replace liners, and ensure disposal areas are tidy. Wash and maintain all office utensils, glasses, and cups regularly.
  • Refill and check the availability of essential items such as tissues, glassware, stationery, and drinking water.
  • Support in small maintenance tasks like arranging furniture, delivering documents within the office, and handling minor repairs.
  • Ensure all electrical equipment, lights, and air-conditioning systems are switched off after office hours.
  • Coordinate with facility or housekeeping vendors when required.

2. Pantry Activities

  • Manage the pantry area and maintain hygiene and orderliness at all times.
  • Prepare quick ready-to-make food items like Maggi, pasta, coffee, or tea for employees as per requests.
  • Operate and maintain the coffee machine daily — ensure it is cleaned, refilled, and functioning properly. Track pantry inventory such as snacks, beverages, cups, sugar, and other consumables.
  • Report shortages or replenishment needs to the HR o team on a timely basis. Collect and record pantry tokens from employees for accountability.
  • Assist during office events or meetings by arranging refreshments and ensuring cleanliness afterward.
  • Ensure all pantry equipment like the microwave, kettle, refrigerator, and coffee machine are clean and in working condition.

3. Reception Activities

  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and vendors courteously. Maintain a detailed visitor logbook, noting the purpose of visit, name, contact number, and time of entry/exit.
  • Guide visitors to the appropriate staff or department after confirming appointments. Assist the front desk in administrative support such as receiving couriers, dispatching parcels, and managing deliveries.
  • Ensure that the reception area is always neat, organized, and professional-looking. Coordinate with HR for any facility or visitor management support.
  • 4. Skills & Requirements
  • Minimum qualification: 10th pass or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in office support, housekeeping, or pantry management preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and follow instructions efficiently.
  • Basic understanding of hygiene and safety practices.
  • Punctual, trustworthy, and disciplined work approach.

5. Work Timings

  • Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM
  • Working Days: Monday to Friday May require occasional extended hours during office events or maintenance work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
