Sr .NET Application Engineer

Job Description:
8+ years of experience in application support and development using: 1. .NET Framework 4.8 2. ASP.NET (Web Forms/MVC) 3. Windows Forms/WPF 4. Strong experience with: 5. SQL Server (T-SQL, performance tuning, SSMS) 6. Oracle (PL/SQL, SQL Developer) 7. Proficiency in debugging and resolving production issues. 8. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, TFS). 9. Experience with job scheduling tools and monitoring systems. 10. Strong technical writing skills for documentation.

Preferred/Bonus Skills:
1. Experience with VBScript and Excel Add-ins (VSTO or COM-based). 2. Knowledge of .NET Core or .NET 6+ is a plus. 3. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Job Summary:
1. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Application Support Engineer to maintain, support, and enhance enterprise-level web and Windows applications built on the .NET Framework 4.8. 2. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both SQL Server and Oracle databases, with additional experience in VBScript and Excel Add-ins considered a plus. This role also includes responsibility for maintaining and creating technical documentation to ensure knowledge continuity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide L2/L3 support for .NET-based web and Windows applications.2. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks, and database-related problems.3. Collaborate with development and QA teams to implement fixes and enhancements.4. Maintain and optimize SQL Server and Oracle database queries, stored procedures, and packages.5. Monitor application health and logs, and proactively address potential issues.6. Support legacy components developed in VBScript and Excel Add-ins.7. Create and maintain comprehensive application documentation, including:8. System architecture diagrams9. Configuration guides10. Deployment procedures11. Troubleshooting manuals12. Change logs and release notes

13. Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
