Sr Motion Designer

About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior Motion Designer who brings ideas to life through animation, typography, and visual storytelling. You’ll conceptualize, design, and animate motion graphics for digital campaigns, brand content, social media, and product experiences. This role combines creative vision, design sensibility, and technical precision — ideal for someone who can think conceptually and execute flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the motion design process from concept to final delivery, ensuring creative excellence and brand consistency.
• Collaborate with art directors, designers, and copywriters to develop visual concepts, storyboards, and styleframes.
• Animate assets for campaigns, product launches, explainer videos, and brand storytelling.
• Contribute creative input to pitch decks, style guides, and motion templates.
• Mentor and provide feedback to junior motion designers.
• Work closely with editors, producers, and sound designers to achieve cohesive, high-quality results.
• Stay current with motion trends, emerging technologies, and new tools that push creative boundaries.

Skills & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in motion design, animation, or visual storytelling.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of composition, timing, typography, and visual rhythm.
• Experience in 3D design tools (Cinema 4D, Blender, Redshift, etc.) is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated ability to develop visual systems and branded motion identities.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of animation and motion work across mediums.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with UI/UX motion systems and prototyping tools (Figma, Lottie, Rive).
• Experience with AI-assisted motion and video tools (Runway, Spline, Midjourney).
• Knowledge of sound design principles and how audio complements motion.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in marketing, design, or product.
