SR. MERN Stack Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled MERN Stack Developer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in building scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should be proficient in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, with a solid understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS. You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development and cloud deployment and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack.
• Build RESTful APIs and ensure high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests.
• Develop reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and product managers to translate wireframes and designs into high-quality code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Integrate AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and RDS into the application architecture.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, or other tools.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug applications and services deployed on AWS.
• Implement best security practices for cloud-native applications.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to improve product quality and performance.

Technical Skills:

Must Have:

• 4–5 years of experience in MERN stack development (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ES6+ features.
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Git and version control workflows.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and callback functions.
• Good understanding of database design and performance tuning.

AWS Skills:

• Experience with AWS EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway.
• Familiarity with AWS CloudFormation or Terraform (optional but preferred).
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of serverless architectures and containerization (Docker/ECS/EKS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK stack).
