BS degree in Engineering plus a minimum of six (6) years of Mechanical Plant Equipment Inspection experience in the construction of Petrochemical or Hydrocarbon facilities. OR two (2) years industrial/technical College Diploma plus a minimum of twelve (12) years of Mechanical Plant Equipment Inspection experience in the construction of Petrochemical or Hydrocarbon facilities.
Shall have a demonstrated background and thorough knowledge of codes such as American National Standards Institute (ANSI) B 31.3, 31.4 and 31.8, ASME Section V and IX, API 510, 570, 620 and 650, AWS D1.1, required for the execution of the WORK.Pass Saudi Aramco written exam based on international codes or hold internationally recognized certifications in the disciplines for which he is qualified, such as API 563 for Tanks, API 570 for Pipes, API 510 or ASME certified for Pressure Vessels, Boilers and Heat Exchangers, and ASNT Level II in MT, PT, UT & VT, RTFI. Also, he shall be certified as an American Welding Society (AWS) CWI, CSWIP 3.2 Certified Welding Inspector, or SAUDI ARAMCO approved equivalent.
