Sr. Mechanical Engineer Static Equipment

As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in water and wastewater treatment systems, you will lead the Tank and Pressure Vessel design for various treatment plants, such as WTP, ETP, STP, WWTP, and Desalination facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless integration of these components into the overall treatment system. This will involve preparing and reviewing design calculations and drawings, as well as collaborating with vendors to fabricate the required tanks and pressure vessels based on technical specifications. You will work closely with the Technical Project Manager to plan and execute projects within the allocated budget and time constraints. This will include participating in project meetings, design reviews, and progress assessments to ensure that project objectives are met. Additionally, you will perform engineering calculations, simulations, and modeling to evaluate the performance and reliability of mechanical systems and propose solutions to optimize system performance. Ensuring quality control and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices will be a critical part of your role. You will conduct quality control reviews to verify design integrity and safety, as well as confirm compliance with customer specifications. Cost estimation and budget management will also be essential, requiring collaboration with the project team to prepare cost estimates for mechanical components and equipment while identifying cost-saving opportunities. Your work experience of 10+ years in mechanical engineering, specifically in water and wastewater treatment systems, will be valuable in this role. You should be familiar with industrial standards such as ANSI, ASME, API, and design software like PVElite. Your strong understanding of various mechanical components and equipment used in these systems, coupled with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities, will be crucial for success in this position. Excellent communication and collaboration skills will enable you to work effectively within cross-functional teams, including Process, Civil/Structural, Piping, and Instrumentation Engineers, to ensure the successful completion of engineering work.,
