Sr. Manager SoC, MSSP, MITRE SOAR

Role Overview: OpenText is looking for a dynamic and experienced SOC Sr. Manager to lead a Security Operations Center (SOC) team and manage the India operations for the Managed Security Services Practice. As a part of the team, you will play a critical role in ensuring successful security operations delivery, building a high-performing team, and contributing to the growth of cybersecurity services. Your blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and customer-centric approach will be essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, coach, and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals to foster excellence and continuous improvement. - Manage team staffing, scheduling, and performance to ensure 24/7 operational coverage and meet service level objectives. - Standardize delivery practices for consistency, efficiency, and quality across engagements. - Provide technical and operational thought leadership in delivering Managed Security Services. - Ensure high-quality customer engagements that exceed expectations and align with business goals. - Collaborate with sales and presales teams to drive revenue growth and support business development. - Offer strategic cybersecurity guidance to customers and prospects, helping them navigate evolving threats and technologies. - Coordinate with global cross-functional teams to plan and deliver security operations. - Continuously evaluate and enhance workflows with automation and process improvements for increased efficiency. - Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards, reporting on KPIs like incident volume, response times, and threat trends. - Ensure operations comply with regulatory requirements and support internal/external audits when necessary. - Support team members" professional development through training plans, mentorship, and career growth initiatives. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 7 years in a technical leadership or people management role within a SOC or cybersecurity environment. - Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK), and threat landscapes. - Proven ability to manage remote, geographically distributed teams with diverse skill sets. - Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to engage technical and business stakeholders effectively. - Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects within scope and timelines. - Self-motivated, adaptable, and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Experience with billable services and utilization tracking is a plus.
