SR MANAGER PURCHASE

As a Senior Purchase Manager with 8-10 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, your primary responsibility will be to manage and optimize the procurement processes in the Engineering or Furniture industry. You will play a crucial role in New Product Development (NPD) and New Vendor Development (NVD) by identifying new suppliers, negotiating contracts, and establishing long-term partnerships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely deliveries. Your collaborative skills will be essential as you work with cross-functional teams to source materials, components, and services for new products, ensuring that all product requirements are met by selected vendors. Key responsibilities include: - Identifying, assessing, and onboarding new suppliers to maintain a diverse and competitive vendor base - Negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts with new and existing suppliers - Collaborating with the product development team to ensure timely launch of new products - Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders - Conducting market research to identify new trends, technologies, and suppliers - Collaborating with inventory and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials - Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in NPD and NVD within the Engineering or Furniture industry, strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiations, as well as experience working with cross-functional teams.
