Sr. Logistic Executive

As a Senior Logistics Executive at the company, your role will involve ensuring timely dispatches of goods, arranging transportation and labor as required. You will be responsible for cost analysis and cost control of depots or C & FA. Your duties will also include vendor development, framing contracts with logistics and other service providers, and preparing checklists for transportation and packaging. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and arrange transportation and packaging for smooth dispatch at local and interstate levels - Manage proper loading and prepare dispatch documents - Prepare GRN, schedule manpower, and balance roles for optimizing output - Book sub-contractors and ensure timely delivery - Independently manage transportation services (Air / Sea) and handle troubleshooting - Develop transportation relationships and monitor transport costs - Negotiate transportation prices and suggest/implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs - Coordinate with Inventory Control, Sales Manager, Head Office, and Production Team for interdepartmental operations Qualifications Required: - Graduation/Post-graduation preferred, with knowledge in Logistics/Commercial fields - Proficiency in Word and Excel for planning and execution tasks - Resourceful with excellent coordination skills The company is located at Waghodia GIDC, Vadodara and the package offered will be as per your experience and qualifications.
