Sr. Live Underwriter

Role Overview: You will be required to have at least 3+ years of experience in US RESIDENTIAL MORTGAGE, specifically in Underwriting and US mortgage expertise. The job is available in Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. Your key responsibilities will include evaluating complete loan documents, making approval or denial decisions, reviewing credit reports, income calculations, collateral and property valuation, and verifying assets. You will need to perform credit analysis based on the 4Cs of Underwriting (Income, Asset, Liability, and Collateral) to assess the creditworthiness of customers. Additionally, you will be responsible for validating and processing loan documents on behalf of a Mortgage lender organization. Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate complete loan documents and provide approval or denial decisions - Review credit reports, income calculations, collateral and property valuation, and assets verification - Conduct credit analysis based on the 4Cs of Underwriting - Validate and process loan documents on behalf of a Mortgage lender organization Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3+ years of experience in US mortgage underwriting - Well-versed with FNMA, FHLMC, with knowledge of GNMA and investor guidelines being an added advantage - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Decision-making abilities when applying business judgment - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Self-motivation and hard work ethic Additional Details: The job is full-time and permanent, offering benefits like health insurance and provident fund.
