Sr. Java Backend Developer

Role & responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain complex backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. • Contribute to microservices architecture, ensuring high availability and scalability. • Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards. • Integrate third-party services and optimize RESTful APIs. • Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) to design efficient schemas and queries. • Collaborate with architects on cloud-native deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/Azure. • Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing technical input and effort estimation. • Ensure system security, data integrity, and high performance

Preferred candidate profile

610 years of backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot. • Proficiency in microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven design. • Strong expertise in REST APIs, GraphQL, and messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ). • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Proficiency in database technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). • Knowledge of caching (Redis, Memcached) and CI/CD pipelines. • Strong mentoring, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Experience with API gateways, gRPC, or serverless functions. • Certifications in AWS/Azure Java or architecture roles. • Exposure to AI/ML integration in backend services
