Sr. Hardware Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new hardware products and enhance existing designs through re-design and value engineering (VAVE).
  • Identify cost-out opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Design and develop schematics for digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics circuits.
  • Lead PCBA prototyping, board bring-up, testing, and debugging.
  • Prepare detailed design documents, validation plans, and test cases.
  • Support design for test (DFT) and design for manufacturing (DFM) strategies.
  • Provide detailed requirements for PCBA functional testing.

What We’re Looking For

Education

Skills & Experience

  • Strong analog design: precision amplifiers, sensors (thermocouple, RTD), ADC/DACs.
  • Power electronics: LDOs, switching regulators, HV circuits, AC-DC converters.
  • Communication interfaces: SPI, I2C, LVDS, USB, Ethernet.
  • Experience with ARM processors, FPGA/CPLD.
  • Proficient with PCBA processes, component lifecycle, RoHS/REACH compliance.
  • Hands-on with tools like Altium, OrCAD, Mentor Graphics.
  • Skilled in using DSO, logic/spectrum analyzers, EMI/EMC simulators.
  • Ability to perform part substitution and alternate design analysis for cost reduction.
