Job Description

As the Sales Manager at the company, your role involves driving the team to achieve monthly/yearly sales targets for the IC dealer/OEM and Exports. You will be responsible for achieving sales & collection targets, focusing on the growth of business, and enhancing market share. It is essential to monitor warehouse performance and ensure adherence to systems, procedures, and policies in the region through promotional plans and distribution strategies in the existing business. Key Responsibilities: - Enhance market penetration through an improved dealer network, OEM, and Exports. - Focus on New Projects Business and generate enquiries/orders from OEMs for new project business. - Explore opportunities with new customers, markets, and products to improve the market share of TIDC. - Develop a long-term business/sales strategy with growth and market share gain as key objectives. - Maintain control over FG inventory, track non-moving inventory, and ensure WIP is within budgetary levels in the plant. - Monitor competition in the market and devise sales strategies to counter competitors effectively. - Track the import of chains on a monthly basis and coordinate with the production team to ensure delivery adherence for all segments. - Meet various customer segments regularly to understand their needs and translate them into actionable points to meet customer expectations. - Work on improving dealer and customer satisfaction concerning product quality and delivery. - Maintain data on chain installation and track MRO requirements, providing necessary inputs to the sales team based on customer expectations and previous experiences. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the industrial sector. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive a sales team towards achieving targets. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with customers, dealers, and internal teams. - Sound knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and sales strategies. - Ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and implement effective sales plans. - Proficiency in maintaining inventory control and managing production processes. The above role will require you to be proactive, strategic, and customer-focused to drive the sales team towards success.
