Gentran EDI Consultant with over 8+ years of experience to help with a variety of daily support tasks including mapping, onboarding new trading partners, performance monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting and resolving transaction error issues utilizing Sterling VAN/AS2 Integrator and Gentran platforms.
Works with relevant client application team members to provide analysis and specifications for additional/new EDI documents. Strong experience working with the business and partners to create/test needed EDI connections and ensure all relevant information and confirmations are being communicated is required. Experience working for companies running IBM i-based ERP systems or JD Edwards is highly preferred. Develops, maintains, and tests EDI maps, related interfaces, and data communications scripts Delegate non-EDI issues to the appropriate resources Assist in the transition of EDI systems to next-generation environments Review and assist in the implementation of client-supplied EDI patches Implementing and monitoring EDI systems, including data mapping, translation, and interface Developing and maintaining EDI documentation
