Senior Quality Engineer

Location:

Gurgaon, India

Role:

QA Engineer / SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

Primary Focus:

Test Automation for web applications

Key Skills & Technologies:

Test Automation:
Strong experience in automation frameworks and tools such as
Selenium
,
WebdriverIO (WDIO)
, or
Playwright
.
Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
Programming / Scripting:
Proficiency in
TypeScript
or
JavaScript
essential for writing test scripts and working with modern automation frameworks.
Understanding of coding best practices and ability to contribute to test framework development.
API Testing:
Strong hands-on experience with
REST API testing
using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
Ability to validate backend services and integrate API tests into automation pipelines.
Front-End Framework Knowledge:
Experience testing applications built on
Angular
framework understanding of Angular-specific locators, async handling, and front-end workflows.

Additional Expectations:

Good understanding of
CI/CD integration
for automated tests (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Experience working in
Agile
teams.
Strong debugging skills to identify issues in test scripts, framework, or the application under test.
Ability to work closely with developers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
