Job Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst at Qualys, you will be responsible for managing the general and administrative unit, including the annual budget plan, long term plan, regular forecast process, and providing analytical support to management. Your key responsibilities and work areas include: - Coordinating across both business and FP&A teams to support reporting requirements and drive cross functional alignment - Preparing monthly and quarterly results, comparing actuals to budget/forecast, and conducting variance analysis as needed - Maintaining headcount related updates/activities for forecasting/planning and providing reports on an ongoing basis - Maintaining vendor schedule related to forecasting/planning and providing reports on an ongoing basis - Supporting the team with month-end activities such as accrual review, reclass review, HC allocation, and activities leading to impact forecast - Assisting with preparation for earnings calls and board material preparation as per requirement - Building review packages, forecast models, and handling day-to-day activities related to forecasting/planning - Working on short-term and long-term projects related to data packages, forecast models, and related data to aid forecasting/planning - Performing ad hoc modeling and analysis as required Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's/Masters degree in accounting/finance or related field - 5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, accounting, or other roles requiring strong modeling skills - Strong understanding of financial statements, ability to analyze financial impacts, results, and good understanding of corporate finance concepts - Ability to assist in the development and updates of complex financial models - Strong business and analytical skills, ability to multi-task, stay organized, and prioritize deadlines - Strong Excel experience with Pivots, look-ups, logic functions, etc. Knowledge of Macros, Power Query, Power BI, and other tools is an added advantage - Knowledge of systems like Netsuite, Coupa, and Anaplan is preferred - Data organization and management skills, technical expertise with data models, data import methodologies, database design development, and data mining; preferred experience with a BI tool and ERP systems You should possess the following skills and traits: - A strong team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude, driving process improvements to increase team effectiveness and minimize errors - Highest level of integrity and good judgment, able to handle sensitive, confidential information effectively - Self-starter with a great work ethic and analytical thinker with superior problem-solving skills - Detail-oriented and organized with experience in ensuring data integrity and detailed documentation - Excellent multi-tasker with stellar time and project management skills - Strong relationship building and communication skills, both written and verbal - Open to working flexibly and in sync with PST as Qualys follows a hybrid work model - Reliable and responsive to email, teams, and phone communications.,
