Sr. Engineer(finishing work)

The Senior Engineer (Finishing Works) will be responsible for supervising and executing all post-construction finishing activities, ensuring the highest quality standards, timely completion, and adherence to design and specifications. The candidate must have proven experience in handling finishing works for large-scale projects such as hospitals, commercial complexes, or institutional buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, monitor, and execute all finishing activities including plastering, painting, flooring, false ceiling, carpentry, waterproofing, and internal/external façade work.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC teams to ensure seamless execution of finishing stages.
• Review and interpret finishing drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Ensure that all materials used and work performed are as per approved drawings and quality standards.
• Manage and guide subcontractors, supervisors, and labor teams for finishing work execution.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and submit to the Project Manager.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure snag lists/punch points are closed before handover.
• Monitor material requirements, wastage control, and inventory for finishing activities.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and timeline targets during finishing work.
• Coordinate with the client/consultant during inspection and handover processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in finishing works for hospital, commercial, or institutional projects.
• Strong understanding of finishing materials, workmanship, and quality control standards.
• Proven ability to manage multiple finishing subcontractors and handle site-level coordination.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
