Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Perform system configurations, MACD (Moves, Adds, Changes, Deletes) on Nortel platforms.

Administer and maintain Nortel voice infrastructure and network components.
Apply firmware and software patches/upgrades.
Manage user profiles, extensions, voicemail, and hunt groups.
Follow ITIL practices to manage incidents, problems, and changes.
Document and escalate issues to L3/Nortel vendor support when required.
Participate in change review meetings and prepare change request documentation.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (network, IT infra, vendors) for issue resolution.
Provide guidance to L1 team members and assist with knowledge transfer.
Communicate status updates to stakeholders on incidents and projects.
