Sr Engineer - Supply Chain

The Sr Engineer - Purchase at Lucy Electric India in Nashik will be responsible for managing the procurement and delivery of goods and services to ensure the on-going operations at LEI. You will coordinate with existing vendors to ensure availability of material as per the S&OP plan, implement ongoing ECN, and meet OTIF on a monthly basis. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, you will work with Suppliers for the timely arrival of Material. Your key accountabilities will include ensuring timely placement of purchase orders on approved vendors, timely availability of components from vendors, proactively identifying risks in arranging materials, monitoring supplier performance, collaborating with internal stakeholders, identifying gaps in existing processes, analyzing market trends, evaluating suppliers, and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and alternative sources of supply. To qualify for this role, you should be a graduate in electrical engineering with 7-10 years of experience in procurement, both domestic and import. You should have a strong knowledge of Purchase Fundamentals, material management, manufacturing processes of components, understanding of technical drawings & requirements, good negotiation and communication skills, hands-on experience with D365 Module and databases, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize tasks with strict deadlines, sound analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make informed decisions quickly.
