Job Description

As an Industrial Engineer specialized in Industrial Engineering & Discrete Event Simulation, your role involves designing, improving, and integrating manufacturing systems to optimize the use of people, materials, information, equipment, and energy. You will be responsible for researching and testing design ideas, utilizing lean manufacturing, kaizen, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis to drive innovation, corrective actions, and improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct Discrete Event and In-Plant Logistics Simulation - Simulate Process Flow, Material Flow, and Throughput to identify bottlenecks and optimize throughput - Optimize AGV routes to mitigate traffic concerns - Perform experiments to enhance facility process efficiency - Generate various What-If Scenarios based on customer requirements - Validate and optimize Layout & Process (Plant and Shop) - Analyze and optimize Plant and Facility Logistics - Write operation codes using inputs such as Cycle time, Layout & Process - Utilize Siemens - Plant Simulation software for writing operation & codes - Conduct MOST analysis for Manpower calculation - Perform Line balancing with MTM analysis - Study Facility layout and conduct Bottleneck Analysis for system capacity Design - Experience with European OEMs / USA OEMs advantageous - Train and manage project teams effectively Qualifications Required: - BE/B.Tech in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering - 6 to 9 years of experience in Industrial & Plant Engineering projects - Proficiency in writing operation codes using Siemens - Plant Simulation software - Strong knowledge of Automotive lines Body Shop, Paint, Connecting conveyors & General Assembly shop - Experience in creating process documents and work instructions - Excellent communication skills in English - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and tools like Siemens Process Simulate, Plant Sim - Familiarity with applying Theory of Constraints (TOC) theories and statistics If there are any additional details about the company in the job description, please provide them so that they can be included in the final job description.,
