Sr. Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Manager to join our team at AC and DC Electrical Pvt. Ltd. (ADEPL). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction and maintenance of Extra High Voltage (EHV) and Ultra High Voltage (UHV) Transmission Line/Substation projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Management & Execution: Supervise and manage all aspects of EHV/UHV transmission line / Substation construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• On-site Supervision: Oversee daily on-site construction activities, including foundation work, tower erection, conductor stringing, and substation connectivity.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot issues related to transmission line infrastructure, including the use of advanced grid monitoring solutions.
• Safety & Quality Assurance: Enforce strict safety protocols and quality control measures on all project sites to ensure a safe working environment and high-quality deliverables.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key point of contact for clients and other stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications :

• Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in the construction and supervision of EHV/UHV Transmission Line/Substation projects.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field is a must.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of transmission and distribution (T&D) systems, including preventive maintenance and testing (PMT) procedures for EHV/UHV lines.
• Proficiency in construction methodologies for transmission lines, including the erection of towers and conductor stringing.
• Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability, safety, and optimal performance of our high-voltage infrastructure, helping us to extend the lifespan of transmission lines for our clients across India and other parts of Asia.
