As a Senior Engagement Manager at a SF Headquartered startup providing high-quality, human-curated data for AI models, your role will involve being a trusted advisor and strategic partner to clients and sales teams. Your top-tier educational background and 5+ years of startup experience, along with significant General Manager or leadership experience in the AI sector, will be valuable assets. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading AI-focused pre-sales engagements in collaboration with sales teams to identify and qualify opportunities. - Developing tailored AI solution proposals and presentations aligned with client needs and business outcomes. - Acting as a trusted advisor, understanding client challenges, and aligning offerings to deliver value. - Overseeing engagement delivery planning with internal teams to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and resources. - Building and nurturing executive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships. - Providing leadership and mentorship to teams during pre-sales and early delivery phases. - Collaborating with product and technical teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements and expectations. - Driving strategic initiatives and business growth within the AI domain leveraging prior GM or leadership experience. Qualifications required for this role include: - Top-tier educational background (preferably from premier institutes). - 5+ years of experience in startup environments, preferably in AI or technology sectors. - Proven General Manager or senior leadership experience, ideally in AI-focused companies. - Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients and sales teams in a pre-sales or solution consulting capacity. - Strong understanding of AI technologies, market trends, and solution delivery methodologies. - Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. - Experience drafting proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), and managing client negotiations. - Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a problem-solving mindset. Preferred attributes for this role include: - Experience with AI startups or scale-ups focused on technology delivery. - Hands-on knowledge of AI product offerings and solution architecture. - Strong business acumen and consultative selling skills.
