Senior MuleSoft API Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Senior MuleSoft API Engineer to architect and lead API-led integrations for our asset management platforms. In this pivotal role, you will design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable solutions leveraging MuleSoft (Mule 4. x), Java, AWS, Bitbucket/Git, SQL, and reporting tools. You will be responsible for integrating critical systems including Bloomberg and Salesforce to enable seamless financial workflows and data exchange.
Key Responsibilities:
Alfresco Development:
o Design, develop, and customize Alfresco Content Services solutions, including workflows, custom content models, and integrations with external systems.
Database Management:
o Configure, optimize, and maintain SQL databases (e. g. , MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server) for Alfresco deployments, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and performance.
AWS Integration:
o Deploy and manage Alfresco instances on AWS infrastructure (e. g. , EC2, RDS, S3, ), leveraging cloud services for scalability, security, and high availability.
System Integration:
o Integrate Alfresco with other applications using Microservices using Spring Boot and REST or GraphQL APIs.
Performance Optimization:
o Monitor and tune Alfresco performance, including database connection pools and AWS resource utilization, to ensure optimal system efficiency.
Troubleshooting:
o Debug and resolve technical issues related to Alfresco, SQL, and AWS components, ensuring minimal downtime and robust system reliability.
Collaboration:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders, to deliver solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Documentation:
o Create and maintain technical documentation for Alfresco configurations, database schemas, and AWS deployments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
o 5+ yrs MuleSoft (Mule 4. x), 5+ yrs Java, 2+ yrs asset management
o 2+ yrs AWS, Bitbucket, Git, SQL; 1+ yr reporting tools
o Experience with Bloomberg, Charles River, or BlackRock Aladdin a plus
Technical Skills:
o Build & deploy APIs with MuleSoft (Mule 4. x, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, CloudHub)
o Develop custom components in Java (Core, J2EE, Spring)
o Deploy on AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway)
o Manage code with Bitbucket & Git (CI/CD)
o Write complex SQL for financial data (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
o Integrate with reporting tools
Additional Skills:
o Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e. g. , Docker).
o Ability to work with version control systems like Git.
Soft Skills:
o Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
o Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
o Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Alfresco integrations using AWS S3 for content storage or AWS Aurora for database management.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing on AWS.
Certification in AWS (e. g. , AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) or Alfresco.
Knowledge of other ECM platforms or programming languages (e. g. , Java , Python) is a plus.
Education:
