Sr. Design & Estimation Engineer

As Designs Engineer -

1 Understand individual project requirements and accordingly develop Electrical designs as per directions of General Manager.

2 Report to General Manager on the daily work done.

3 Accuracy in Electrical calculations.

4 Prepare and develop accurate drawings and designs within given time schedules.

5 Discuss/understand material and specifications required in a project before preparing drawing.

6 Build technical knowledge by observing what and how work is being done by Machine shop team.

As Estimation Engineer -

1 Accurate evaluation of tenders/ enquiries within committed time

2 Prepare an estimate based on the scrutiny of Tender documents / Enquiries received

3.Daily morning meeting with General Manager to discuss enquiries status

4. Daily reporting to General Manager in the evening

5 Working on the multiple enquiries simultaneously

7 Communicate with client independently for any queries/ technical clarifications required 8 Follow up with customer till queries are resolved

9 Evaluate drawings and schedules accurately

10 Floating Enquiries to Suppliers / Manufacturers

11 Follow up with Suppliers / Manufacturers till Quotations are received

12 Comparison Studies based on Suppliers' Quotations

13 If required, negotiations with suppliers on technical and commercial aspects of product OR doing such negotiations jointly with Purchase dept.

14 Based on Clients budget constraints for any specific project, carrying out value engineering studies

. 15 Pricing for electrical / automation / instrumentation systems

16 Making Pre-Qualification documents, both standards as well project specific questionaires

17 Reverse engineering studies before dispatch

18 Maintaining ISO documentation regarding estimation process, if required (i.e. Enquiry register)

19 Keep utmost confidentiality about estimates and project costing

20 Perform any other duties as assigned by Management from time to time

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹21,002.23 - ₹40,000.00 per month
