Job title: Sr. Design Engineer HVAC (Compressors) Experience required: 5 year – 8 years Qualification required: B.E. / B. Tech – Mechanical Job Location: Thane Job Responsibilities: This role involves designing and developing Air conditioning compressors and chillers based on advance Technologies, New Product Development project requirements. Mechanical design of compressors, chillers from concept selection to detailed drawing, including design of pressure vessels, castings, bearings, lubrication systems, and seals. Specify, select, and apply motors in compressor applications. Performs stress and deflection analysis, rotor dynamics, and vibration analysis. Follow compliance with F-gas Regulations Knowledge on functioning & designing of chilled water HVAC systems. Should be able to do selections for Chillers, Boilers, AHUs, Expansion tanks, pumps, valve selections etc. Provide efficient and accurate pump head calculations, pipe sizing etc. Learn and apply new technologies in chilled water systems. Design, implement, maintain and improve mechanical systems, equipment selections, specifications and other related processes for commercial, industrial and residential projects. Knowledge of Codes including but not limited to International Codes, Mechanical Code, AHRI, Energy Code, NFPA Standards, ASHRAE Standards etc.
