Sr. Design Engineer Architecture ( 82319614 )

Job Responsibilities :

• Familiarity with regulations and industry codes and standards affecting all architectural work within department
• Updation of job related issues to the concerned
• Ensure incorporation of IDC comments given by other disciplines and ensure completeness of comments given to other disciplines
• Quality assurance: Adhere to QMS norms / maintain required documents for project scope of work
• Preparing / checking of designs & SOQ
• Planning of weekly work of the area pertaining to project and scope of work
• Checking and issue of IFC drawings pertaining to project
• Providing input / sketches to designers
• Maintenance of record prints, check prints, commented prints and drawings / checklists.
• Allocate appropriate work and provide necessary inputs to designers.
• Checking interfaces for IFC Drawings
  

Education Requirement :

• Architecture Degree from accredited college or university
  

Experience Requirement :

• 6 years minimum experience of which at least 3 years of experience working on industrial architecture
• Experience on medium to large size projects
• Experience of working on office interiors desirable
• Experience of working on landscaping assignment desirable
  

Skills & Competencies :

• Basic knowledge of development control rules and general building requirements
• Extended knowhow for use and application of design software such as MicroStation AutoCAD Revit etc.
• Understands intra-discipline technical issues.
• Through knowledge of project specification and standards
• Knowledge of planning and scheduling
• Knowledge of QMS
• Good communication & presentation skills
• Knowledge of 3D presentation packages such as 3D Studio Max etc.
• Skill gap identification for self and subordinates
