Sr Database Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Database Administrator to join our growing team in Hyderabad. The Sr. DBA will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our database systems. This role requires a strong understanding of database

technologies, including MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and a passion for delivering high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain database systems, including MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

Perform database performance tuning and optimization.

Ensure database security and integrity through regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and access controls.

Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.

Troubleshoot and resolve database-related problems.

Participate in database upgrades and migrations.

Work closely with development teams to ensure database compatibility and performance.

Develop and maintain database documentation.

Stay current on the latest database technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science or a related field.

8+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.

Strong experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including installation, configuration, and administration.

Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.

Experience with database security best practices.

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
