Sr. Data Analyst - BI & Visualization

To enhance our Data Solutions team, we are seeking a skilled Data Analyst BI & Visualization to build high-impact dashboards, optimize data models, and support data-driven decision-making across clients and internal functions.

Position Summary

As a Data Analyst BI & Visualization, you will be responsible for designing and developing dashboards, performing data analysis, building optimized data models, and delivering business insights. This role requires hands-on expertise in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, and related tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, translate them into data requirements, and deliver intuitive reporting solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, is detail-oriented, and is passionate about solving business problems through data. This position is based in our Ahmedabad office.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.
• Build and maintain robust data models and reporting structures to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources including databases, flat files, APIs, and data lakes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into actionable reports and dashboards.
• Optimize Power BI dashboards and DAX formulas for performance and scalability.
• Implement data security features including Row-Level Security (RLS) in BI tools.
• Monitor dashboard performance and resolve issues related to data accuracy and speed.
• Work with SQL and Power Query to manipulate data as required for analysis.
• Stay updated on BI trends and tools to continuously improve reporting processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in data analysis or BI/dashboard development
• Proficiency in dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or similar
• Ability to perform ETL operations while maintaining high data quality and consistency.
• Working knowledge of Python, SQL, DAX, Power Query (M).
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and present insights clearly
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
