MM Consultant in S/4HANA Public Cloud needs a blend of Procurement and Inventory Expertise, Cloud Configuration skills(SSCUIs & FIORI Apps, Integration Knowledge and US Manufacturing domain awareness.
Candidate should have worked on min. 2 implementation on SAPS/4HANA Public Cloud Minimum 8-10 yrs. of Relevant Experience Should have good communication skills SAP MM expertise and understand client s business environment mapped to SAP S/4HANA Should be able to provide solutions on business requirements

- Procurement & Purchasing
- Purchase Requisitions & Purchase Orders.
- Source determination & supplier evaluation.

- Configuration: Using SSCUIs (Self-Service Configuration UIs) instead of SPRO.
- Fiori Apps: Deep familiarity with procurement & inventory Fiori apps (e. g. , Manage Purchase Orders, Monitor Material Coverage ).
- Extensibility: Knowledge of in-app extensibility for custom fields, forms, approval rules.
- Best Practices Activation: Understanding of SAP preconfigured business processes for manufacturing.
3. Integration Knowledge
MM-FI Integration:
- GR/IR clearing.
- Vendor invoices posting to AP.
- Material valuation method
MM-PP Integration:
- BOM, routings, material consumption postings.
- Subcontracting processes.
MM-SD Integration:
- Third-party order processing.
- Returns handling.
MM-QM Integration:
- Quality inspection at GR.
- Usage decision posting.
External Integrations:
- Supplier collaboration platforms (Ariba Network, SAP Business Network).
- Logistics providers (FedEx, UPS, 3PLs in US).
4. Manufacturing & US-Specific Domain Skills
- Manufacturing Procurement: Subcontracting, consignment, vendor-managed inventory.
- Indirect Procurement: Office supplies, services, CAPEX.
- US Regulatory Knowledge:
- Import/export compliance (HTS codes, Incoterms).
- Trade compliance (US customs, duty).
- Tax rules for interstate procurement.
5. Data Migration & Reporting
- Experience with Data Migration Cockpit for MM objects (materials, vendors, purchase orders).
- Fiori-based reporting (stock overview, supplier performance).
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) exposure for procurement KPIs (spend analysis, supplier performance).
6. Soft Skills
- Business Process Knowledge: Understanding procurement policies, vendor negotiations, and supply chain operations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Working with plant managers, procurement leads, finance teams.
- Change Management: Guiding customers from legacy procurement systems to SAP best practices.
- Analytical mindset: Translating KPIs (inventory turns, procurement cycle time) into system configuration & reporting.
- Candidate should be comfortable to work on international time zones and odd working hours
- Should work independently and help other team members as needed
- Work with teams to develop testing scope, identify and manage risks within project management processes and standards
- Participate in daily team meetings to update and track the status and progress of tasks.
- Work closely with other module consultants and work closely on the Integration challenges
- Knowledge on timesheet and cost booking using timesheet is added advantage
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and adheres to all organizational standards and maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction
SAP S/4HANA MM Certification . Graduate Engineer from a reputed college/ institution. Exposure IS-Mill solution will be advantage
