Our Client requires a Senior Research Development Chemist located in Taloja MIDC- Panvel. The role involves conducting research and development activities, utilizing analytical and laboratory skills to develop new coatings, and ensuring quality control measures are enforced in the production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute chemical synthesis experiments to develop new molecules and optimize synthetic routes.
• Conduct literature reviews to stay updated on the latest synthetic methodologies and techniques.
• Perform laboratory experiments, including weighing, measuring, and mixing chemicals, following safety and quality standards.
• Analyze reaction products using techniques such as NMR, HPLC, GC-MS, IR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
• Maintain detailed laboratory records, including experimental procedures, results, and observations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including chemists, engineers, and project managers, to achieve project goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to chemical synthesis processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
• Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with process development and scale-up of chemical reactions.
• Knowledge of computational chemistry and molecular modeling software.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in chemical synthesis, with a strong understanding of synthetic organic chemistry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex synthesis challenges.
