Role Description

• Selected candidate would be responsible for appropriately coding both the procedure and diagnosis ensuring they meet the requisite payer guidelines.
• Independently work on claims denied because of Coding Issues
• Keep up to date with Medicare and other Payer Coding Guidelines and NCCI Edits
• Prepare and continuously update Coding guidelines for the Billing team
• Interact with the Client to inform them about any major coding changes by Payers. Also inform them about any coding guidelines being violated by Providers resulting in Claim denials.
• Ideal candidate would have knowledge of full RCM and be able to independently manage the RCM cycle of the account assigned to him.
• Will be the point of contact for the client and will interact regularly and and hold weekly meetings with the client.
• Manage the team members and ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Develop process and protocols.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education and Certification: Any Graduate,
• Good oral and written communication skills and a zest to learn.
• Experience: Min 5 years’ experience in Coding for a Pain Management Ambulatory Surgery Center. Experience of working on Athena would be a plus-plus

• Salary: Salary for experienced candidates will be commensurate with knowledge and experience
