Account Manager and Sr. Certified Coder US Healthcare

Role Description

• Selected candidate would be responsible for managing the RCM operations of the account.
• Will be the point of contact for the client and will interact regularly and and hold weekly meetings with the client.
• Manage the team members and ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Develop process and protocols.
• Will be responsible for appropriately coding both the procedure and diagnosis ensuring they meet the requisite payer guidelines.
• Independently work on claims denied because of Coding Issues
• Keep up to date with Medicare and other Payer Coding Guidelines and NCCI Edits
• Prepare and continuously update Coding guidelines for the Billing team
• Interact with the Client to inform them about any major coding changes by Payers. Also inform them about any coding guidelines being violated by Providers resulting in Claim denials.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education and Certification: Any Graduate,
• Good oral and written communication skills and a zest to learn.
• Experience: Min 5 years experience in Coding for a Pain Management Ambulatory Surgery Center. Experience of working on Athena would be a plus-plus
