Sr CDA (Data Acquisition Specialist-Non-CRF)

As a Sr CDA at Syneos Health, your role involves leading other Clinical Data Associates (CDA) in the collection of Non-CRF data and data management activities for multiple studies. Your responsibilities include: - Maintaining awareness of contract and scope of work for assigned projects and communicating status updates to the Project Manager (PM) and/or Biometrics Project Manager (BPM) - Reviewing and adhering to study-specific Data Management Plan (DMP) requirements - Creating and entering test data for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) - Performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for data entry screens, edits, and data review listings - Receiving and entering lab normal ranges - Completing and submitting Clinical Database Management System (CDMS)-specific access forms and/or spreadsheets - Performing reviews of discrepancy output and validation listings based on data entered into the clinical database - Ensuring data from external databases/datasets are consistent with data in the clinical database - Running data cleaning and/or status reports - Participating in internal/external audits as required - Training and mentoring DM staff - Providing support to the Project Data Manager (PDM) on a study as required - Coordinating cross-functional non-CRF tasks and communicating with stakeholders - Leading all Non CRF activities of the study independently - Acting as Non CRF POC for Customer leading cross-functional communication and vendor collaboration Qualifications required for this role include: - BA/BS degree in the biological sciences or related disciplines - 5 to 7 years of experience in Clinical Data Management - Experience in external vendor data setup and non-CRF setup activities - Experience with DM practices and relational database management software systems - Proficiency in MS Windows, MS Word, Excel, and email applications - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - Good organizational and time management skills - Ability to multitask under tight deadlines and work independently or as part of a team Syneos Health is dedicated to developing its employees, promoting a Total Self culture, and creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
